Be Yourself. Be Happy.

Of the grand order of folio leviathans, the Sperm Whale and the Right Whale are by far the most noteworthy. They are the only whales regularly hunted by man. To the Nantucketer, they present the two extremes of all the known varieties of the whale. As the external difference between them is mainly observable in their heads; and as a head of each is this moment hanging from the Pequod's side.

Stay Positive. Always.

End of her: We have a WINNER!

Argghhhk! I ate my couch cushions, spitting out feathers from my mouth! What a tense, wtf I’m reading but I cannot stop, will not stop because I’m obsessed with the fast pacing, heart pounding, stomach churning novel!

I have a question to the readers of this book: did you fantasize six million ways of getting rid of shameless slut Erica by giving her slow and the most torturous death and keep thinking to hire John Wick for his impressive knife throwing skills? Well, I guess I did and I’m not ashamed of it. The author gave us one of the most hatable characters: A mashup of Maleficent- Baby Jane Hudson- Nurse Ratched-Wicked Witch of the West-Cersei Lannister.

After I destroyed our couch, a long and painful stomach pumping procedure later, i continued to read at the pillow-less hospital bed (actually I read aloud and all the nurses on my ward dropped their shifts, circled me to know what’s gonna happen, treating me with jelly trays. )

I summarized them the plot before I start my reading: which I’ll do the same for you:

Stephanie and Patrick are happily married with twins if you don’t count the babies’ heavy colic problem which turns to torturous nightmare with nonstop crying tournament, agitation and restlessness. Both of them suffer from sleep deprivation and their only problem was not adjusting to be new parents. A woman named Erica ( scumbag slut alert) from Patrick’s past appears out of nowhere, telling that she is Patrick’s ex wife’s best friend and she insists that first wife hasn’t died accidentally, she has been murdered by Patrick. And as last nail to the coffin: she tells that she and Patrick were in love and having affair behind his first wife’s back.

Erica blackmails them because she already did her homework and she knows about inheritance money of Stephanie and she wants her cut for her silence not to talk to the police for reopening the murder case.
Well, Erica is not only blackmailing this couple, she may ruin another two couple’s lives, too, with the powerful information she may use as her leverage.

And the worst thing is she already incepted suspicion seeds inside Stephanie sleep deprived, paranoid mind. What will happen? Could Patrick be cold blooded killer? Could pathologic liar Erica tell the truth? Could Patrick marry her for inheritance money?

As her reality slowly distorts, she has to gather the pieces of her life to find the truth to protect her family.

I liked twists, gripping, breathtaking writing and as my final decision I’m giving my fiery, nerve bending, shocking, jaw dropping five stars. I think this might be my favorite work of the author! ( And of course all hospital crew listened to my reading throughout my stomach pumping process agree with my decision! And I’m thankful to be featherless now which mean I can pour myself a glass of Chardonnay!)

One of the mind blowing #experiences of my life! T One of the mind blowing #experiences of my life! This book is #extraordinary! @km_sutherland @putnambooks
Here’s the beginning of my @goodreads #review :
At least hundred times I asked myself after finishing the last line of this brain cells destroyer, mind hacker, nail biter, extremely shocker, jaw dropper novel; What the freaking heck I just read?
This is more than creepy, dark, disturbing, eerie! Those words are not enough to describe the senses you feel when you have one of the craziest reading experience! It’s bleak, soul crushingly dark and sharply twisty, extremely complex earns your 100 decibel screams!
Let’s talk about the blood freezing, disturbing plot line to draw a clear picture!
Ten years ago: on New Year’s Day on a quiet street of Edinburgh, Hollow sisters ( three young girls Grey(11), Viv(9), Iris(7))have been disappeared in front of their parents’ watchful gaze!

Her poor parents Cate and Gabe didn’t stop to look for them and as their hopes start diminishing after month passed and no trace has been found, the girls suddenly came back at the very same street they were taken. They were naked, carried nothing with them but an antique folding hunting knife. All of them have half moon scar at the base of their throats which have been stitched with silk thread. Instead of that, there were no physical injuries or no signs of sexual assault have been found. They were just malnourished and dehydrated. There were identifiable hybrids kind of flowers found on their hairs.

Thought provoking, brave and #entertaining #younga Thought provoking, brave and #entertaining #youngadult version of “You’ve got mail “ is out! In my opinion this is best #book of @uzmajalaluddin I highly recommend! @berkleyromance @berkleypub
The beginning of my @goodreads #review :
I proudly announce we have a BIG WINNER! This book is bold, thought provocative, unconventional, feeding your inner rebellious self by reflecting a true, genuine, stunning approach to racism, religion, hate crimes!
It is blood boiling, heart pounding, fist clenching, a true emotion trigger with well crafted characters with entertaining, smart, heartfelt, remarkable back stories.

Hana Khan,24 years old, hosting her own podcast, working at radio station as intern and her mother’s Indian-Canadian fusion restaurant is not only the narrator but a talented story teller who share the vivid characters of her own family.
In her own words: she lives in Scarborough: an east end suburb of Toronto/ Canada. Her parents were immigrated from India before she was born. They run a small halal restaurant called Three Sisters Biryani Poutine ( Biryani Poutine is Hana’s favorite dish which sounds not like a real appetite stimulant!!! I love both of those dishes separately and I have to say : sorry Hana but mixing them sounds like worse than the food I randomly cook at home! ) : she gave the name to the restaurant even though they’re only two sisters. Their mother was too busy to waste of her time for finding creative advertising solutions for their small business.

Hooray! Another best of the best #thriller #read a Hooray! Another best of the best #thriller #read and my so far #favorite @sallyhepworth #novel is finally out! @stmartinspress
Some parts of my @goodreads #review :
I have to admit: THIS IS THE BEST BOOK OF SALLY HEPWORTH! And FERN IS ONE OF THE MOST FASCINATING CHARACTERS I’VE EVER INTRODUCED.
The story is told by twin sisters: Rose and Fern, not only sharing a womb and awful childhood memories, but also sharing a big secret.
After her fertility problems and troubles of her marriage, Rose starts seeing a therapist and she is advised to keep a diary to pour out her bottled up feelings she has been keeping since her childhood. The twins’ story start with her diary pages tell us something tragic happened when twins were little. A boy was drowned. It seems like Fern is responsible of boy’s dying and Rose saved her sister from being held behind the bars by keeping her mouth shut.
And from the POV of the diary we realize their mother has sociopathic tendencies, targeting Rose ( because she takes the blames to protect her dear sister) by mentally and physically abusing her. Then after being overdosed, the sisters find themselves at the rusty wheels of foster care system.
When we read the parts of Rose, we start to empathize with her and we think how adorable, protective sister she is.
But when we read Fern’s parts, we cannot help but root for the character wholeheartedly. She is on the spectrum of Asperger’s syndrome, sensitive to light, voices, touch (when she has to attend a gathering at the crowded place she has to wear googles and earpods to protect herself), an efficient librarian: because she is highly intelligent, focused on details and the libraries were always her favorite place since her childhood.

#happy #book #birthday to this #amazing #powerful #happy #book #birthday to this #amazing #powerful #lyrical #thriller! @paula_mclain @randomhouse
The beginning of my @goodreads #review:
I haven’t read so lyrical words written in full of intensity in such a powerful, moving, thought provoking tone! I literally find myself trapped inside the mind of heroine and I didn’t want to leave there even it hurt me a lot!
Inner poet of Ms. McLane created a tormented but a decent fighter, remarkable heroine: Anna Hart who is specialized to find missing people, dedicated San Francisco detective. After tragedy hit harder, for gathering the shattering life pieces, she decides to go to back to small hometown Mendocino where she grew with her foster parents who help her become the person she is today!
But as like her unfinished business about a missing girl who traumatized her for years, another 15 years old Polly Klaas : missing girl case occurs at the very same place, showing quite resemblances with the past missing girl case that haunted her.
